To ensure timely availability of certified seeds at the door steps of the farmers, the Corporation has created its own network of sale counters, besides making the certified seeds available through the sales outlets of MINIBANKS, HAFED, HLRDC and HAIC.

HSDC has a network of 74 Regular Sale Counters up to the Block and Tehsil levels throughout the State. Besides regular sale counters, the Corporation also opens temporary sale counters in the State as per requirement.

HSDC is playing an important role in the growth of Agricultural economy in the State by way of distributing quality certified seeds of varieties approved and recommended by Govt. of India, Agricultural Universities and State Government. HSDC is marketing its seed with the brand name “HARYANA BEEJ”, which is quite popular among the farmers of the State for the last three decades. Since its inception, HSDC has been successfully serving the farming community by supplying high quality certified seeds at reasonable price and has earned a good name in seed industry in the country.

HSDC caters to the demand of seeds of crops, like, Wheat, Mustard, Barley, Gram, Paddy, Cotton, Bajra, Moong etc.

Apart from sale of seeds, HSDC has also planned to diversify its activities and has entered into sale of new agriculture inputs business like pesticides/insecticides/weedicides/fungicides, fertilizers, spray pumps, vegetable seeds etc.

The Corporation also supplies seeds outside the State to various State Seed Corporations, Department of Agriculture and bulk seed purchasers and distributors.

In case of vegetables, HSDC is marketing Open Pollinated Seeds developed by Agricultural Universities and other Research Institutes. Considering significant shift of farmers’ preference to Hybrid vegetable seeds, HSDC has arranged tie-ups with Department of Horticulture, Haryana and has made available a complete range of excellent and world class hybrid vegetable seeds.

Vigorous publicity campaign is undertaken by the Corporation by inserting advertisements in print media, electronic media etc. and also by participating in the National Level and State Level exhibitions and Kisan Melas organized by various Departments of the Centre/State Government from time to time.
